I'll probably get Overmaster from this catalog. The new song isn't the type of song i like. I'm hoping they'll eventually release eden and yakusoku. Alright* and jitensha would also be great, but i think they are too personal to Yukiho/Makoto to appear in a game where everyone can perform the song.

Kimi*Channel kind of reminds me of Positive in a way.
Tea Time Happiness looks so cute! Looks maid cafe style.

Overmaster and BEYOND THE STARS!!! ;D <3

... Maybe I've been working too long at the classifications board for too long, but why does the first extend costume look like something you'd expect in an adult production?

I think it just looks really, REALLY tacky, and I'm almost tempted to decline adding into the compendium because of it.

I probably will add it anyway, although I'm probably going to drag my heels on this one, but that's due to the estimated price.

For those who want to know what the estimated price is...

http://ofa.idolmaster.jp/dlc/

From here:

Bundle 1 is 1899+ tax
Bundle 2 is 1621+ tax
Bundle 3 is 1834+ tax

Accessory pack is 980 yen (Or 908+tax)

That would suggest the tax is 7.25% or thereabouts.

Anyway, 2 of the extends are not part of a bundle, so they're 1500 yen each
Another extend isn't part of it, adding 750 yen.
And a luxury and starry aren't either so that's (I think) 500 yen each.

S4U expansion is 1112 yen + tax (Which is a strange figure)

So we're looking at 3000+750 +1000 + about 6000 + 980 +1250ish yen.

Or... about 13000 yen.

... I really need to pick up a cheaper hobby.

I thought it sounded kind of similar to We have a dream.

The song and costume packs are definitely the most tempting, though definitely not getting all of them.

Also, Japan's current tax is 8%, going up to 10% in October 2015 by current law.

Wow, that Yen is murder. I'll be providing my share sometime soon, regardless. Looking at the first Extend costume now, it really does look something out of that kind of flick. xD
Suddenly, bow-wow-wow~. :3

Clearly someone is very, very new to how this all works.

For an idea:

im@s2 PS3 kept up this pace for 18 catalogs.
im@s2 Xbox 360 did it for 14.
im@s L4U did it for 18 catalogs (But to be fair, something like 6 of them were song only releases)
I'm not even sure what the im@s1 system was, apart from 'very, very expensive'.

So the answer is 'Yes they will, so prepare the wallet.'

I think it's interesting they're offering a free update to the game in the summer. Guess they want to make sure people keep playing. I was surprised they gave us three songs for once too. Personally I didn't see anything wrong with the new extend but I'll give it another look.

You won't understand it unless you've seen a lot of things most people wouldn't want to admit to seeing. (or you're someone like me, who gets paid to get involved with this sort of thing. In my case, I did a fair bit of work for the government, for legal and compliance reasons.)

I don't recall any free items with that though. Everything in that catalog is purchase only, as the items skipped over are the ones included in the bundles.

I'm waiting for the resultant doujinshi to show up with the costume as a centerpiece of the fan work, because frankly, the costume writes itself.

... And I think I've said far too much.

It just looks like a regular idol costume to me even with trying to imagine what you're thinking of. It doesn't seem particularly bad when we've had more revealing things in the past.

This concept image reminds me how the SP extends used to do this too.

In summer 2014 a free online update will release which includes the following.
"Adding more morning greeting commus"
"No producer rank limit"
"Adding more higher difficulty jobs"
"Adding quintet live jobs"
"Adding more shop items"

The official site mentions a summer update to the game. I'll edit this post with the details.

That's because you haven't seen enough of it. Anyone who has will tell you that the apron heart design is, quite literally, a common cliche in certain storyline formats.

I've never figured out why it's so prevalent personally, but it's used surprisingly often so I guess it works for the intended audience. Like I said, I think I've spent a little too much time doing work for the Australian Classifications Board.
