I did actually find it on a Japanese wiki, how to set different co-ords. It's under the options menu (second tab, final option (set it to する)), but you can't use it until after clearing the Idol Extreme at least once. Dunno how to set it for S4U but that should allow it easily for produce mode at least.

I've been going a bit slower than Setsuna, but I'm in Y3 Spring now, just barely winning the C3 all star live last winter. Added Yukiho to the line-up. Also got a revival on Ready, though now that leaves me wondering how you get the Gold status since that one gets an achievement... Gold and Break status aren't explained very well in the manual but I can't seem to find them on the two Japanese wikis either.

As an aside, most of the base work I had to do to get the english wiki going is finished. I have to fill in charts more and such, but the initial tediousness is finished. There's a lot more I want to add though.

I'm back and trying to recover a bit before I go back into the breech.

I've managed to get Torani ni... to go Gold - I think it requires you to use a song to break a certain number of sales or more likely gather a certain number of fans. I haven't seen a song get removed from gold, either.

In my case, since Torani ni... is one of the two FES songs of choice (yes, it's that overpowered) I think I spammed it like 100 times total. Not sure if it's a use count or just a total number of fans collected (I wouldn't be surprised if it was the latter though) using the song.

So that explains what the last option is. Well, I can find out in a few minutes. Having 9 A1s with nothing to do has its advantages.

Oh, almost forgot. Does anyone know of the exact stage count in OfA? I need the data to compare to the file.

The manual does explain the duration for all of the song statuses, and yes Gold will never disappear. It's described as "a song that's such a big hit that everyone knows", so having to take it to a lot of events makes sense.

As for stage count, this one has about 40 on it? (this jp wiki) (i attempted to count but i probably fucked up)

I think OFA has all the stages, plus 4 or so new ones, plus DLC maybe (I know I saw the UFO stage earlier). But I'm not sure.

Is there any way to get the DLC to work on a non japanese profile? I downloaded that free outfit on my japanese profile and installed it and everything but it won't work on my regular profile

kind of wary to switch since i already started too

Did you log into your Japanese account, go into the catalog from the main menu of the game, and install the outfit there too?  After you've done that you can use it on your main account.

Remember that iM@S DLC comes in two parts: The actual files for the DLC, and the license key for the DLC.  You have to download both things.

You'd have a problem is they do what happened in im@s2 - Some of the DLC will have an ingame requirement of being a producer rank (or other achievements) including a free one I think.

So I'd be careful, unless of course you don't mind playing the game twice.

My special box finally came in, and I wasn't expecting 14 posters. I had assumed it was a randomly assigned one meant for trading. I don't know what I'll do with all of them! I have Makoto hung up, and I'd like to do the same with Hibiki but... Her skin is white and it's bothering me.

The movie outfit doesn't have any requirement, I installed the catalog+the costume itself and I used it for the longest time since it gave two stars worth of stats.

And I don't think playing twice would really make sense? Each save file would have its on P rank to base if you could use an item that has a P rank requirement for it to base off of. The game is endless so there's actually no real purpose of multiple saves besides the experience the story events again or to try and challenge yourself with self-enforced limitations or something else like that.

In order to use DLCs you have to download the catalog. Start the game while you're logged with your japanese account, then in the main menu select the icon for DLCs (the third one from left if i remember correctly), so you'll be able to download the catalog number one. After the download is complete all your DLCs will work fine with every account in your console.

I noticed that a lot of DLC outfits from last game are unlockables for OFA which makes me happy because that means we'll probably get less re-releases.

In im@s2's case, some of the items on sale were restricted because it checked your achievements on the account that you use to access PSN on.

So if they DID do that (I know they did it for 3 sets of accessories on im@s2) you couldn't buy them at all. (It hit me for a while, because since I was doing hyper only runs, I actually got caught out for a short time on that one.)

So consequently the warning, particularly IF you want to buy an accessory.
