i wouldn't be so hung up on the initial stats. If it is anything like im@s 2 difficulty wise a few points more or less in the beginning don't matter, it wouldn't even matter if the max stats had the same difference, because compared to the total they only make a small difference and you simply don't need the absolute maximum to completely own the game.

And if it's true that there is no end, it matters even less because you have the time to max out their stats.

My game is now being processed for shipping. Since i ordered by EMS i guess i'll get it on monday. Which is good, because i'm not at home during the weekend and i'd be really annoyed if i knew the game was waiting at home ;)

If anyone has spare Miki CG codes they don't plan on using, mind sending them my way?  I'm looking for as many as possible.  I'd appreciate it!

I'm willing to give away my ML Chihaya code too.  I have no idea if these codes are redeemable multiple times, but I'll assume/hope they are.

I'm jelly, guys. So jelly~. D:

YET STILL, I now realize my order has been shipped. SO HA!

Ha, somewhat.

But wow, I'm surprised S4U is so limited as it is. Was hoping to be able to play Futari no Kioku right off the bat... harumph. :C

Nice song, too, and it's also nice to know Long Cam works as expected~.

I'm not.

im@s 2 was similarly locked. I believe only 7 of the songs were available, about 8 costumes and maybe 10 accessories total.

Maybe 10 of the stages were available on start as well.

Everything else was in game money earned. You'd perform, produce, and use the proceeds to buy more costumes.

It would probably be at least 2-3 weeks of hard playing to unlock everything, I'm guessing.

free mode only? no level up ? no training ?
Ranko is DLC for use as a rival unit - that is, she can fight against the main 765 girls in festival play - and in Stage 4 U (basically the free watch mode). You cannot produce her in the game itself, so there's no level up nor training for her, no.

And here's Leon!
...okay, despite the fact she isn't producable, I think she may have just shot up to "favorite" status just from the song alone - I'm definitely eager to figure out its meaning.
So much Engrish though...

As for a song list, I think there's one on the wiki somewhere?

There's 2 versions up, one for (all) the standalone digital download, and one that seems to connect to the imas channel.

Both are the same price, so what are the perks of getting the imas channel version?

Edit: I got my answer from another forum, you get the other version free when you buy one.

It's still noticeably less than what iM@S 2 started off with -- by roughly half the margin no less.

Eh, it does give one an excuse to actually play the the game so there's that at least... can't have my songs going without Extend, after all. :P

Thus far, I've been using this as reference.

I get the feeling that that's the point, if I'm to believe the no-end to a playthrough, considering in 2 you'd only ever be able to use a few songs at once.

Meanwhile, guess who just got her copy...

The box is dualsided, too. Yes, that's my thumb, and I apologize for bleh quality >>; (Also, I'm not sure what the Haruka image - it doesn't appear to be a folder or the like, haven't examined further - is, but the back appears to have adverts for other Playstation games, so)
I got what I'm to believe is the costume code in a small box that contained the cleaning cloth, and all the posters, rolled up, in a small box inside. The ML/CG codes were inside the game packaging, which makes enough sense.
I haven't yet checked out the calendar nor the drama CD yet and at this point, I'm a little more interested in firing up the game - so let's see what it's like to start!

From the above posts, it sounds like everyone's image song is locked to start with (TBH, it kind of feels a lot like some of the fighting games I play, particularly the anime-themed ones, where only a handful of characters are available to start and you have to unlock the rest via Story Mode, etc). I wonder if you have to accomplish something with an idol in order to unlock her respective image song, kind of like in Dearly Stars (remember how ALIVE, Precog, and Dazzling World had to be unlocked in their respective story routes?).

Still kind of disappointed that my Miki wound up with FuruFuru Future (least favorite Miki song IMO) instead of Marionette no Kokoro (best Miki song, period) or something more iconic like relations.

Still hoping Haruka gets I Want.

All I know for certain is Iori got Futari no Kioku and Azusa with Tonari ni..., so I'm content. Seems like I'll have to produce them for that, but I'll get around to this~.

Miki does seem ill-suited for FuruFuru Future, but I personally love it with Ritsuko -- it's adorable in a playful, probably sort of annoying way. :3

In regards to your copy, Virgofall, the dual-sided box is very cool. Wonder when and where the Drama CD takes place... perhaps it's to bridge iM@S 2 and OfA? As rudimentary as it sounds, I'd also kill for that calender; I'd rather have our beloved idols tell me what month and season it is. :3
