Sold.
However, I wonder if there're "trash" tasks to be taken care of prior to truly playing, a la iM@S2?
(For the unfamiliar, you basically were intended to use your first few playthroughs in order to collect all the things that would help you get the high scores and the true ends.)

lol im swapping ritsuko for haruka and thats going to be my 3 picks, i read an interview through a crummy google translaltion and the gist of it i was able to make out was that the game just keeps going and theres no need for those type of runs because theres no "time limit"
not too sure what that means so maybe someone can clarify, i never played the others ones this will be my first.

Basically, in the previous games, you had to work to achieve the goal of becoming "top idol" (in iM@S2's case, getting the Idol Academy awards) within a certain amount of weeks, where you had to pick from certain sets of activities to do each week (do I want to help my idols perfect their skills, send them out on promoting, hold a concert? etc.). In iM@S2, you had 55 weeks.

So I've been lurking on /vg/ over on 4chan and from what I gathered produce mode has no ending and the game progresses by seasons. Every season you unlock another idol to produce and a new song to play with, but I'm not sure which songs are base songs and which are unlockable but you do need to unlock them in produce mode to be able to use them in s4u.

Still haven't heard squat about Leon, which is a bummer because I'm really interested in her.

that seems kinda meh, i like the idea of producing my idols forever(or as long as i feel like) so this game seems right up my alley, also like that it seems that theres no game overs so if you lose at a festival you just suck it up and hope you do better next time.

Initial stats
DA. VI. VO. Name - Total Points
14 21 17 Yuhiko - 52
23 20 19 Makoto - 62
23 25 19 Iori - 67
19 14 16 Yayoi - 49
23 19 26 Ritsuko - 68
21 20 30 Chihaya - 71
16 18 22 Haruka - 56
17 26 20 Miki - 63
24 18 20 Hibiki - 62
17 21 22 Takane - 60
20 16 14 Mami - 50
20 16 14 Ami - 50
16 22 19 Azusa - 57

Whoa, hang on a second. Since when was Ritsuko's vocal higher than Takane's?!
Also, last game Hibiki and Makoto had equal dance. Given Makoto's work ethic, I'm surprised her dance stat has gone DOWN while Hibiki's remained near the same (pretty sure they were both 24 in iM@S 2, or was it 26...)
Either way, I'm honestly very surprised by some of these stats (like, since when was Iori's dance on par with Makoto's?!), though Chihaya still maxed out on Vocal was obvious.
My baby Makoto deserves better than this.

Aaanyhow. Doesn't stop me from being excited for this game, and Miki/Hibiki/Makoto is still my ideal unit. No, that was not my ideal iM@S love triangle. T_T

ONWARDS, AOSHIMA!!!

Nah, last game the stats were same as what was shown before for Hibiki/Makoto.
As for the Ritsuko/Takane question, the world will never know, considering that they have never been producable in a game together before now (unless hypothetical stats for Project Fairy in the SP era were in some random fanbook somewhere).

Edit: Also, Ranko's wave is really hyper and energetic - definitely cute. XP

Takane was only the Vocal specialist of Project Fairy, meaning that her VO is probably the highest out of the three... Which is reflected in the stats. She doesn't have as strong a lead in her area as Hibiki and Miki do though.

As for Iori being equal to Makoto in dance, it's just a thing that makes more sense in gameplay than in the plot (think all those games that have characters saying "press A to attack!"), since idolmaster has a long tradition of making Character an inverse to stats.

Looks like someone is streaming OFA on Twitch right now:

They chose Yayoi, Iori, and Makoto.

Can't produce her. These are 765's initial stats.
free mode only? no level up ? no training ?
