In the second video there is a text that says something like: Quickly press the indicated buttons.

And at least in the video there was always one of each of these 2 groups:
1) L1, R1 or L1 + R1 to look at the left, right or central camera
2) One of the 4 normal buttons for an expression (intense, sad and so on).

So i guess it's just a simple quicktime event. Not very innovative, but much better than the annoying aiming at quickly moving targets with an analog stick from im@s 2.

HD screenshots. Looks like Ranko comes with her song (that I can never remember the name of) and Serika comes with Tokimeki no Onpu ni Natte, but I bet they'll also come with a second song?

DeviantProtagonist:
Ranko's inclusion doesn't surprise me, but what does surprise me is her being announced this early as is. She's one of the more vibrant designs.

Yeah. Help would be nice...

Canèt go into detail about it right now but i can give minor brief.

Things on skills and how important they are.
Changes to auditions such as multipliers on certain stats (pretty much means we can't stack 2 stats and expect to pass)

Although it obvious, Only My Note confirmed to have an All Star version ingame.

More in vid but that what came out the most to me.

Virgofall:
Looking at this new video, I'm even more hyped now than I was before, as lives/auditions/etc. were my favorite part of the game, and some of these changes help add some more strategy past "be sure to get full combo".

I do notice there's an end counter for appealing, though I'm unsure if it only applies to burst appeals or regular appeals too, having noticed it on only one song and said song had a full voltage gauge (I'm guessing it's so that they won't initially reveal the end burst times for newly-added songs, since said one song was "The World is all One"). This, and the way the burst appeal gradually depletes voltage gauge on hit rather than taking it all outright, seems like it's trying to make itself more beginner-friendly in a way.
