Yeah, they need to re-balance it so any song will work...

i'm fine with a full combo on a slow song being a little bit less valuable than on a fast song, since it's easier to achieve (because of the number of miss opportunities), but not to such an extent as in im@s 2. I'm pretty sure they noticed this issue by now, whether they attempted to fix it or not is another question...

It would be nice, yeah. Didn't help that Yukihos' image song has so little scoring potential.

ok, i took my time now to watch the video and read all the stuff they wrote.

I won't mention the things that can be seen in the background like xp bars and such, i guess they will be explained in a later movie.

Basically what they showed is mostly not that different from im@s 2. It seems that, as time goes on, you'll get more and more of the girls to work and have conversations with. About these conversations: it looks like they are more or less set events which increase the memory gauge for the selected idol. I guess they are similar to the story events for your main idol in im@s 2, but this time you can have them with more than just one.

In the morning you will be greeted by your idols, as shown in the video twice. It seems how this greeting exactely looks like is random. You'll also see the idols going on about their daily life in the office while you are fiddling around with the menu. And the idols who stay behind will send you off when you go to work (as shown with Yukiho and Takane).

They said that an important part of producing is to select the correct idols for the task at hand and that the jobs you can accept increase when you rank up. There will still be auditions, festivals, lives and promotions as in im@s 2.

Sometimes the host of an audition will say what he wants to see. In the video at 4:35 he wants to hear their voice, and vocal score seems to be multiplied by 1.5 for a short time.

In the next video they'll talk about the rank up festivals, looks like they are back. In im@s 2 all was determined by the highest rank you were able to achieve in the charts.

I'm really getting hyped for this game now and i'm looking forward to exploring and finding the right strategies with you guys.

【 5/15】[PS3] バンダイナムコ「アイドルマスター ワンフォーオール」
■ライバルとして日高愛が登場

Sounds like Ai is going to be a rival in One 4 All. Fans will surely come "ALIVE" for this. (see what I did there?)

I wonder if this means the other two will be in as well. (crosses fingers for Eri)

What's this!? 876Pro appearing in a game NOT as DLC Characters!?

Yup! Eri and Ryo are never without Ai, so they'll show up. Considering the response from SSA, I wouldn't be surprised if we see more of them. Too bad that they're still just rivals...

It does kinda suck that they still don't have major roles, but I'm just glad because this is a step up from the usual "pay $15 DLC each to have them in the game".

They're keen on reusing a lot of assets, aren't they? A bit worrisome, to be honest.

Not really. That kind of the point of One for All. It's a bit like an elaborate Director's Cut to Idolm@ster 2 imo. But I have a feeling that Namco will go all out with Idolm@ster 3.

The Vocal lessons feel a bit different from last time, though. Held notes/buttons, breath meter...

I didn't expect them to change too much from 2. I see One For All as a holdover game, similar to Batman Arkham Origins or the Kingdom Hearts HD Remixes. Its a game being released to give the fans something to play while the true next installment is in the works.

There's truth to that, though it's yet to be seen how it'll affect the DLC module. The prospect of having to pay for certain things another time doesn't sound very enticing.

Being the end of 2nd Vision, I wonder if they'll bother to give 876Pro some 2nd Vision re-designs. Probably not, but that sure would have been nice.
