The iDOLM@STER: One For All (PS3)

I think the issue is there's only endless mode. If they had added a side mode (think story mode and free mode in SP) where you could do goals as you pleased there would be more replay value. But as is when you start over you're just doing the exact same thing just in a different order (in 2 you would be going through different routes, but in OFA you go through every route at once because it's endless).
Also how they do the commus is too annoying here. Not the commus themselves, but how they're viewed. In previous games you would get commus when you picked a job at a certain rank, but with contacts they're random and can only be viewed once, which is even worse with the random morning and night commus. It's been months since I saw Chihaya's night photography commu and it's still not uploaded online and I have no way of rewatching it. I think that they should include the other commus in the memories menu instead of just the story ones, that would help greatly, or allow some way to rewatch or go through them again.

I just want to see Kaede and Kirari have DLCs already. The new song sounds alright, but a little bland-ish. But I'll probably like it once I've heard the whole thing. Wow I haven't posted here in forever. XD

The thing is that the bunk of those hours are spent grinding. You want your idols to be a certain level, rank and memory before you take on the challenges. You have to grind towards season goals when you want to do something else. Furthermore leveling up is too repetitive (memory appeals are a pain if you are not lucky). So for me it's more like 150 hours/13 idols= 11 hours of actual content.
Okayu is right OFA needs better replay value. It can get very boring after you get one of your idol into the high ranks.
The biggest problem I have with OFA is the number of songs in the base game. There's less songs than Idolmaster 2 PS3 and you start with only a few songs. Then again, the original Xbox version had less songs.

... Can I attribute that feedback to you and send it over to Namco? Please?
Hint: Think about what you just said, then think about what was included as base, then the additional songs. Really.
DeviantProtagonist:
While I can agree the repetitions are very real, the endless mode is what makes me enjoy OfA much more than iM@S2. The sole reason for that is because you aren't nearly as constricted as you were in iM@S2's linear playthrough, being at often times plentiful room for error if your scheduling isn't up to par in something like a Hyper playthrough. Whereas in OfA? You can take it in stride so everything's that much more free form -- it appeals to me as a sandbox player.
In regards to song count, both games do share the same number of base songs (20). When DLC's thrown in the mix? iM@S2 only has 39, but OfA's beyond healthier at 60+ and counting, what with the catalogs still going. The idea of the recent game lacking in this department is straight-up baffling. We aren't even including guest songs to inflate that mighty number, at that.
