It's meant to be old-fashioned. The costume's called Old Modern Blossom after all. It's accessory set are called Retro Girls Beret, Retro School Bag, Clock on Memories, and Tricolor Anklet.
The new song is alright. Mio's costume looks awesome though.

Let's be honest, her versions of those songs are lackluster compare to other idols. Sure, she's a "good" singer, but she has one of the least versatile voice range out of the 13 idols.

It's all a matter of taste. I know some people who LOVE old Yukiho's singing but she's one of my least favorite singing voices in the series.
I expected Matane 2.0 from the title of this DLC song, but... It's really not? The outfit is nice though.
The DLC idols are probably going to be the Jougasakis, Anya, and Chieri, judging by the cast from the upcoming G4U game.

Chihaya with the least voice range? Does not compute within my cranial perimeters -- all it brings up are 404's and Yayoi redirects. :P
But on a serious note, I do really like the new costume and accessories for their modest look. That, and I'm particularly fond of berets for some reason. In regards to idol DLC, there's no excuse not to have Anya in there, what with her having a model in the upcoming G4U.
