Are you thinking of translating the contact events after the EX episodes?
Yeah I might end up doing so since they're shorter compared to previous ones (some commus in iM@S 2 are 6-7 minutes each for example).

What I think of most idols on edeN (though admittedly haven't listened to all of the non-GroovyTune versions in full):

- nobody can really do that beginning English and not sound bad. Even the best ones (Haruka/Azusa imo) still sound like stalkers (I'm admittedly convinced that's the point by now - forbidden fruit motifs and all - but)
- for most idols, this is a well-rounded song... but Ritsuko, geez, turn down that power level in the chorus? x.x This is a good "powerful" song for Azusa, and while I'm a little surprised it's quiet on hers, I like Hibiki's version too. Probably helps that this song is balanced - to an extent - in power levels. And there you go Yayoi you got your actually-decent mature-ish love song

Honestly I think it more has to do with the line itself being hard to sing if even the more talented with English idols have trouble with it.

I was surpised at Chihaya's performance in edeN. She's definitely a good singer but most certainly not a very adaptable one unlike Haruka or Azusa. Her beginning English sounded really off (although it still must be hard so yeah) and she slipped a lot of notes here. Still better than her GO MY WAY!! though, LOL.
Hibiki's performance was really nice, have yet to listen to anyone else. Personally I'd love if they'd introduce quartets in iM@S just so the proper edeN can become a reality. Nothing better than the original singers :)

Chihaya's version are kinda... off? But this song is also perfect for Azusa/Haruka/Hibiki (I really like Haruka in Fate of The World so yeah!) and finally Yayoi have a decent mature love song that she can good at it!

Well the beginning English is so underheard. I know is for symbolism/stalking voice reason or somewhat like the Shiny Festa but... for a stage song may the English can given a decent volume to it.

as well edeN is a great that we waiting for! all three Shiny Festa songs are complete!

Which format would you prefer for Chihaya's OFA subtitled videos?

I prefer the second version (English only).

The left looks easier to edit in, but the right looks more like a legitimate typeset. I personally prefer the right, but if I were an editor, I'd go for the left since it's less of a hassle.

Either way is fine for me.  It seems easier to do the left side, which is good since you won't get burned (or burnt?) out quickly.  That way you may have some energy left to translate the communication events, if possible?  But, the choice is up to you.

Again, Thank you so much for translating Chihaya's story!  She's my most favorite videogame/anime female character.

I prefer the first; I like to be able to attempt to read the characters along with the translation, even though it's not quite so visually appealing.

Preferring the second, as translations beneath the boxes throw me off personally. As is, if one wanted raws they could simultaneously browse alternative videos.

Chihaya's EX Episodes are now all finally complete. If you want to learn more about Leon I'd recommend you read the 2nd part of EX Episode 12. With that I'm going back to working on Azusa's route in iM@S 1 but I might do some Chihaya OFA commus in between working on that.

IT'S MIO HONDA TIME!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KSGjb3ruwdA

We got a new song, a new costume (hooray for more school uniforms?), and a CG idol who actually dances!

All joking aside, a ton of stuff was announced at the event today.
