Looking for Yakusoku off vocal version
« on: August 05, 2013, 01:19:45 am »
Heya

Is there an official off vocal/karaoke version of Yakusoku? Preferably the allst@rs (anime) version of the song.

As for what i need it: David "docjazz4" Ramos is a guy from San Antonio who has played a lot of instruments. Some years ago he picked up the ocarina and started posting youtube videos of various original songs and cover versions of songs. He also made several videos about the ocarina itself and how to play one. Here is an example (cover of Blue Bird, the 3rd Naruto Shippuden opening): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B3J6TvdEcgc

A while ago he started a kickstarter project to make his own ocarina album. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/docjazz4/an-album-of-ocarina-music
One of the possible rewards (for a pledge of 500$) was that you can choose a song he'll cover in a youtube video. I really learned a lot from him and i wanted to support him. It was a really close call, of the target 22'000$ he had about 19'000$ one day before the end of the fund raising so i increased my pledge (it ended with 22'800$). And i wanted to hear an im@s cover and get the sheet music for it ;)
After discussing it with him i chose Yakusoku, it's a great song and it nicely fits within the range of a 12 hole ocarina (which is the kind i play myself).

And that's the reason why i'm looking for an off vocal/karaoke version, as a backing track he can use. And i guess if there was an official one, that would be the best available quality.
