--- Quote from: zeda12123 on July 12, 2013, 07:58:19 am ---From what i've read of translated lines and the 4komas only popular girls get more developed personalities and pretty much every single girl wants to get with producer no matter the age or personality. Frankly if the CG girls do get promoted to games I want them to tone down the producer love a little. I'm here for the girls i don't want the girls to be here for me.

I would like for the characters to revolve a bit more around them and less so around how much they want the Producer, 'cause I feel like the game would be able to evolve them a lot more if they didn't just restrict their development to how much they depend on affection from the Producer. If that makes sense.
And... Looks like I'm getting a PS4, then. :P

Yeah, that's why I'm in the minority that likes the Million Live girls.
They're more developed than the Cinderella Girls and they feel like bonafide 765 idols instead of gotta catch 'em all collectibles (and gimmicky as hell). Maybe it's just that they added so many of them at once that made people dislike the million live girls, but if they were added slowly like Takane and Hibiki maybe they would all get their fans. They seem much more carefully created.
I really like Julia a lot.
RisingStar:
If they didn't feel the need to keep making new Cinderella Girls, it would've been better. And yeah, the producer love is kicked into overdrive for every single one of them, too. I like CG, but not where it's going. Their development and gimmicks seem to be heavily influenced by their fans. At this rate, I think they should stop the Cinderella Masters at a good number, maybe 30 or 40, and focus on them. Yeah, fans will be mad that their favorite idol won't be voiced, but it better than making more than they can handle. That way, they can move out of mobage and give them a proper game.
As for the MLs, I like them, I really do. Even though some still annoy me, design-wise. When ML was first introduced, I was kind of skeptical at them adding MORE idols when there were already so many CGs. Them being already apart of 765Pro didn't make much better. But after a while, I began to think "So 765Pr become more popular and attracted more aspiring idols." After that, they didn't bug me. They seem to have much more thought put into them, as ninjamitsuki said, therefore seem more interesting than most CGs, voiced or not.
ninjamitsuki:
Yes. There are so many CGs and all with little detail or backstory, they're like Pokemon. I love Pokemon. But the appeal of iDOLM@STER is forming a strong bond with the characters, and having so many with only a few lines of dialog, some not voiced, and personalities that can be summed up as "she's smart" or "she likes fashion" makes them feel more like Pogs than people. ._.
Meanwhile all the Million Live girls already have backstories and voices, not to mention Million Live focuses on giving new angles to the existing idols rather than just adding new idols, and I think quite a few of them have a lot of potential to be well-loved idols if they made a console appearance.
Now then, I wonder if the next generation would be able to fit all of the idols. It would be a shame if they picked favorites. ._.
