Haruka sounds like a self-parody, I know she can sing a lot better. I was very surprised when I learned that I want was actually her song.

I agree that Haruka captures the dominating feeling of I want, but she sings it with a wrong voice! Such voice suits Kiramekirari or STAR to STAR, but not I want! In addition, I don't think the lyrics suit Haruka. They suit Chihaya-Master very well (maybe too well). To me, Haruka is bright and cheerful girl and song that perfectly suits her is Kanashimi yo konnichiwa, I always recollect episode 24 of ANIM@S when listening for it.
Whose versions of I want do you like and why?

I think even though Haruka is a bright and cute girl she also has a good sense of humor and she can pretend to be evil characters really well (maybe to the point of actually becoming a bit evil herself).
And even though Haruka is such an innocent character, I think there is some evil lurking underneath that...(Harukakka)

Do you know English translation of I want? It clears everything.
When I listen to Miki's version, I have a feeling that she does not take the song seriosly because she sings it in a too funny way, like if it was a song for children. Makoto's voice just does not suit the song and Ritsuko overdid with screams.

I'm not sure how people dodge the copyright filters on YouTube now. I can only think of flipping the video horizontally and swapping the left and right channels of the audio, but I think YouTube would have caught on to those tricks by now. Even if you get past the copyright filters, a viewer might report some of your videos for copyright infringement (even for short segments of copyrighted material) and you might get in trouble for that.

I don't think so... I have my profile there, but you can upload AMVs only by FTP (which I know nothing of) or providing your link. In addition, I can't find an "upload your video" page!

Probably not any AMV, but almost all. There was a time when there were a lot more AMVs on YouTube, because YouTube was more lax in enforcing copyrights. Then suddenly they changed their policy and so many AMVs disappeared. However, not all copyrighted material is removed—I can think of some fan made videos that use copyrighted music, and they're still viewable. Maybe they got permission from the copyright holders.
