A: Chihaya Kisaragi! Both of them! Both idol and Master!

A: It’s because I like my real name. Maybe year of my birth will bring good luck to me? 

A: I’m fond of historical animes like Saiunkoku Monogatari and Fushigi Yuugi. Another anime kind I’m fond of is anime about idols! THE IDOLM@STER and Idol Master: Xenoglossia are the best animes I’ve ever seen!

You are right, it's like Arisu and Alice. But I like my name the way it is.

Why is Chihaya my favorite idol? What a good question. When I just started watching THE IDOLM@STER,  I was thinking: Chihaya sings better then all other idols, always works hard... She is perfect idol!  I understood later it was after watching Xenoglossia that she has disadvantages too. There aren't good traits and bad traits actually, everything depends on circumstances.
As for Chihaya-Master, I seem to be only one person who calls her like that I feel sorry for her. To make long story short, she was used and didn't realize it. In addition, she has such a charming voice!    She used it to hypnotize Yukiho-Master... and me!   I think I want is perfect match for her, I even made an AMV!

Thanks to your reply I listened to Haha no komoriuta five or six times.  It's... so... sad... As I thought, it doesn't associate with Mai-OTOME anymore. 
By the way, English title of this video is Chihaya-Master's story.
And I want was made 17/05/2013 too. Do you like it?
And by the way (again! ) I recommend you to (re)watch Xenoglossia, it made me think about a lot of things.

I guess this is one instance where we disagree; Chihaya's version of I Want doesn't sound so great to me. I don't have a copy of it myself, so I had forgotten what it sounds like. Chihaya is one of my favorite singers in idolmaster, though. The video looks fine, but I think I'd enjoy it more if I had watched Xenoglossia.

Sorry for taking so long to respond. I've been stuck in a hotel room where the net isn't free, but I finally decided to use my iPhone's data plan. Here's how I rate them (this is based on viewing YouTube over a low bandwidth 3G connection).

First tier:

Do you know English translation of I want? It clears everything.
When I listen to Miki's version, I have a feeling that she does not take the song seriosly because she sings it in a too funny way, like if it was a song for children. Haruka sounds like a self-parody, I know she can sing a lot better. I was very surprised when I learned that I want was actually her song. Makoto's voice just does not suit the song and Ritsuko overdid with screams.
