I actually do like when some liberties are taken to spice up the English script, but that kind of approach wouldn't work very well with iDOLM@STER.

Oh really? That's Awesome! Thank You Very Much ninjamitsuki! I really appreciate it in answering my questions and concerns. I think I will buy it then.
More people need to buy this game to motivate Namco to translate Idolm@ster 2!
Yes, I know its expensive. But the translation as, ninjamitsuki, says is pretty good and keeps the Japanese Culture.
Chance4U:
Umm... So the routes and OVA's are translated... But do the songs still have Japanese subs?
idolfanaticV1:
They still have the Japanese subs. Just checked it out on Theater Mode.
Chance4U:
Thanks... I guess that's good for the wiki, but I can't help but admit that I wanted some official English lyrics...
Oh! Are the Star of Festa cards translated? If they are, we can finally have some official English profiles for DS, Jupiter, & CG girls!
ninjamitsuki:
From what I've seen, they didn't even translate the song names, not even into romaji. The song names are literally just in Japanese when you select them.
But I haven't played Shiny Festa in Japanese or otherwise so I don't know if it changes in gameplay or if it's only the selection that is in Japanese.
