Also, on a completely unrealated-but-still-kinda-relevant note, I really want a Dearly Stars movie/anime.

This needs to happen.
Is there a reason Jupiter's BGM is in the movie soundtrack?

That's cause Jupiter makes an appearance in the movie to give Haruka some advice and they are also audience at their m@sterpiece live performance.

That's actually really sweet and heartwarming seeing Jupiter in a non-antagonistic position. AmaAma hnnging incoming

Okay... Question:

Did anyone else from iM@S appear in the movie?
So far 765PRO's idols and staff, Million Live's Backup Dancers, Jupiter, and Rin Shibuya have all been "confirmed" by this forum...
Was there anyone else, like Kuroi or 876PRO?
And was Ryuuguu Komachi still a unit? Did Ritsuko get to perform onstage, or did she produce everyone?

I think you just made my day. I was kinda freaking out because I was worried that the advice Magica mentioned was more criticism than advice.

I still wish we had a summary...

Just to clarify, Rin Shibuya's appearance in the credits was just a still picture... So it's not really much of an appearance at all. XS

Anyway, to answer your questions, 876 pro does have cameos in the form of posters in Kana's room. (There might be more but I can't think of anything else right now. 876 pro wasn't exactly focused on in the movie after all.) There are also other million live cameos in the credits but I couldn't identify them since I don't play that particular game. Kuroi did not make an appearance but the Reporter from the Anime did. (Kotori even imagined a Yaoi scenario with Reporter and President Takagi.)

Ryuuguu Komatchi should still be a unit I think and Ritsuko did both. (As if that's a surprise. XP)

And sorry, I guess I should have made it clearer about Jupiter giving Haruka advice. But if I elaborated more on it, I would have given the plot away and I don't want to spoil the movie too much. But I can tell you that it wasn't criticism or anything insulting. :)

...I actually haven't seen it. I just assumed "advice" meant something positive.

And I hope 876 was in this, too. It would be ridiculous if they weren't included..

I was wondering if the Rin appearance was true or not as you can never be sure with some people so I'm glad to get some backup from here on that. I also had heard that Junichirou Takagi had made an appearance at some point in the movie, is this true? Also I was wondering how is Chihaya taking up photography handled? It's mentioned in her summary and shown in the trailer so I figured it's important, just like how Miki's summary mentions Hollywood and that shows up towards the end

Well, President Takagi made an appearance in the movie of course. He IS the production's president after all. :p

Though if by 'made an appearance' you meant his face was shown, then no, his face was never shown in the movie.

Chihaya taking up photography and Miki being in Hollywood wasn't very focused on at all. They weren't even very relevant to the plot of the movie. There's only a few times you see Chihaya taking pictures and Miki being in Hollywood was only shown in the movie credits. As a still picture. :/

I was referring to his cousin, from 1st vision.

Do you have any examples of what she takes pictures of? If you remember anyways.

Oh, oops. Silly me. I saw Takagi and immediately thought of the president from 2nd vision. XP Well, I don't remember seeing him anywhere... But I could have just missed him.

Skipping the picture she took that was shown in the trailer, I remember seeing Chihaya take pictures of Haruka... And maybe some of their activities from their training camp.(Though I'm not so sure of the latter one. Sorry, I can't really remember any other things she took pictures of. DX)

I rather like that Chihaya took up a new hobby.

It makes our idols seem more alive.

Best part of the movie IMO. Especially since they animated the dance routine for the whole song. Without a single cuts or still frame. M@sterpiece is also a really nice song! Bought the soundtrack and can't stop listening to it. ^^

I second this. Been searchin' for days and no full movie summary has been posted anywhere I've looked.
