ML really does do some unique card sets. There's awesome mecha, heaven vs. hell (where Makoto is Satan for some reason), cop drama, a bike race, Hell's Kitchen, and a lot more.

Meanwhile CG is doing the same staples... Serafuku, swimsuits, maids, athletic stuff, animals...

I love CG but ML's card selection is nothing to scoff at.

Agreed. The Cinderella Girls card sets today were nice little athletic meet cards, meanwhile Million Live went ham with freaking MECHS! I adore how Million Live just does whatever the hell it wants with its card sets and it not only leaves you guessing what they'll do next, but when it happens it leaves an impact. I STILL get goosebumps and overjoyed when looking at the Idol Fight card set. They just go so crazy that it leaves a great impression, at least for me they do.

There is. Its more noticeable in the frameless.

edit: hooie just dumped like 1300 bp1's into an event just to end up 40 places short. Had exams so I couldn't ninja snipe the end of the event. #welp.

There's also the thing where Matsuri might...not...actually like marshmallows.

There's a lot of dialog where she's trying to change the type of marshmallow to something specific served only to be shocked when they actually have said specific marshmallow, and Rio telling Matsuri not to force herself...

There has never been any actual card depicting her eating marshmallows either.
