DLC Issue

I'm new to iDOLM@STER (the game) and I thought I bought the catalog 14 extend outfit and song on PS3 and it downloaded it or so I think the screen came up and it said downloaded, but it didn't come up when i was looking through my dlc stuff

If someone could screenshot what options to press, it would be very helpful so I can see if I'm pressing something incorrectly

Did you download the actual catalog itself? It should be beside the folder in the store where all the dlc items are.

Pretty sure I did. I could go through all the catalogs just fine.

Edit:: So, I got emails saying I bought the stuff, but it will not show up. I wanted to use them for S4U! and it just isn't in my extend clothing.

Just to be sure, did you already install the catalog? It might still be uninstalled. Try it with a catalog that offers a free item (like Catalogs 1-6) Install it and then get the free item. It should appear in the game.

Okay, so I downloaded two free items and they dont show up when I'm in S4U! do I have to start story mode first?

Forgot to mention, but there is a message that pops up 3 times (I bought 3 things from the catalog) when I start up iDOLM@STER its in Japanese but it has "765 Catalog" in it

Do you have a camera of some kind? Maybe taking shots of what you think is important will shed some light on this.

It says:

Some DLC could not be read.
From the menu, go through the 765 Shop Catalog (765ショップカタログ) and to Download Catalog (カタログのダウンロード). From there, download catalog 5, and install it.

Alright, so I did just that and everything that I bought is there! Thank you!

I guess I was installing the wrong thing or something.

There are 2 things

1. Did you actually download the Catalog Installation File for Catalog 14?
 
  If you downloaded the Outfit and Song for Catalog 14, they will NOT show up in S4U, unless you downloaded the Installation File for Catalog 14.  Don't worry, it's for free.

2.  Check the online guide here https://sites.google.com/site/imas2strategy/items/list-of-accessories to make sure there isn't a Trophy Requirement to get a certain DLC to show up.  Some Accessories can only show up if you achieve a certain Trophy Requirement.
