Next up for what Pokémon Solar and the expansions have to offer are basic descriptions of the Frontier Brains. Also as you may notice, N shows up in the game as well.

EXTRA CHARACTERS

FRONTIER BRAINS

Kanade "Tenshi" Tachibana (Origin: Angel Beats)
Position: Factory Head
Info: Tenshi is a girl who rarely shows any outward emotion and is shown to even have abandoned being friendly. She serves as the Student Council President for the Battle Frontier School and is tasked with the responsibility that the students are able to cope with personal problems. Tenshi is fond of eating Mabo Tofu, and will go as far as to ignore school rules to eat it. She prefers to spend a lot of time in the Battle Factory studying how Trainers battle with random Pokémon.

Tenshi spends some of her free time gardening and is actually part of the school's gardening club. It's possible to discover more of her personality after defeating her in a Pokémon battle.

Tenshi is first seen upon winning your 20th consecutive battle in the Battle Factory, where she will challenge you to a battle. Upon winning your 48th consecutive battle, she'll challenge you again. Due to the rules of the Battle Factory, Tenshi's Pokémon can be any Pokémon that's allowed in the Battle Frontier.

Yuno Gasai (Origin: Mirai Nikki)
Position: Pike Queen
Info: Yuno is a young girl whose personality is an ambiguous one. She is a sweet, feminine, and sometimes shy girl. However, this masks her darker side as a cold and calculating person, something that some of the Trainers in the Battle Pike fear.

A lot about Yuno is shrouded in mystery and how she came to be the Pike Queen is unknown. It's said that her personality is very unstable and that she carries Yandere tendencies.

Yuno is first seen upon reaching the end of your 3rd pass through the Battle Pike, where she will challenge you to a battle. Upon going through the Pike 10 times, she'll challenge you again, although with a different lineup than before.

Sena Kashiwazaki (Origin: Boku Wa Tomodachi)
Position: Arcade Star
Info: Sena is the daughter of a man named Pegasus Kashiwazaki, headmaster of the St. Chronica Academy in Ert'Aria. Her wealth, beauty, and academic and athletic performance has made her popular among male students and Trainers, to the point where some will go through the Battle Arcade again and again just to get a glimpse of her. Sena is arrogant and prideful by nature and states that since she's that good, she can do that. When in public or in the Battle Arcade, she wears flashy clothes that fit her well.

Sena considers herself a queen or goddess and states that she should be called the Arcade Goddess rather than Arcade Star. She sees female Trainers as not worthy of her and male Trainers as servants.

Sena is first seen upon winning your 20th consecutive battle in the Battle Arcade, where she will challenge you to a battle. Upon winning your 48th consecutive battle, she'll challenge you again, although with a different lineup than before.

Marika Katou (Origin: Mouretsu Pirates)
Position: Ship Captain
Info: Marika is a cheerful, optimistic, and charismatic girl, and is also captain of a unique pirate ship, the Bentenmaru. She can be a bit naïve and a little clumsy at times and can even come across as an airhead. But beneath her usual self is a cunning, slightly devious, and intelligent persona. When Marika becomes serious, generally during her hours as captain or when engaging in a Pokémon battle, her usual silliness is replaced by overwhelming brilliance, and she can consider and utilize any and all options available to her in order to maximize her advantage when necessary.

Marika has good leadership skills, is capable of making quick decisions and sticking to them, and keeps herself relatively calm under pressure. She is dependable and hardworking, and will always see her tasks through to the end. Her charm can also bring people to her side.

Marika is first seen upon winning your 20th consecutive battle in the Battle Ship, where she will challenge you to a battle. Upon winning your 48th consecutive battle, she'll challenge you again, although with a different lineup than before.

Asuna Yuuki (Origin: Sword Art Online)
Position: Net Guild
Info: Asuna is a kind and helpful young woman who can't abandon another in trouble. Being the head of a guild within the Battle Net called Knights of the Blood, she is also somewhat proud and not afraid to get physical with anyone that challenges her authority or brags about her abilities. Asuna tends to take Pokémon battles very seriously and is very focused on winning them.

Asuna tends to be someone that can be controlled by her emotions a lot. She also isn't afraid to take matters into her own hands and act out on her own from time to time.

Asuna is first seen upon you winning your 20th consecutive battle in the Battle Net, where she will challenge you to a battle. Upon winning your 48th consecutive battle, she'll challenge you again, although with a different lineup than before.

OTHER CHARACTERS

N Harmonia (Origin: Pokémon Black/White)
Info: N is a mysterious person who has a deep connection with Pokémon and is able to talk to them. He was once the puppet leader of Team Plasma and aspired to create separate worlds for humans and Pokémon. After the events of Pokémon Black and White as well as Black 2 and White 2, N has come to the Nostrum region to find himself. After you have defeated Bonnie, N is located on the Altar of Origin, where he explains about that the altar was built in honor of Arceus, the original Pokémon. Knowing of your accomplishments involving saving the Genesis Trio from Turiavita, he decides to test your bond with your Pokémon by battling you. His Pokémon lineup depends on the season.

Sunflorazumarill:
Next up are the rosters for all the Gym Leaders in Pokémon Solar. Note that the reason for posting their rosters is as you may notice, each of them has at least one Pokémon different than in Flora/Azure. In fact, when rematched, each of them has at least two Pokémon different. There's also the fact of battling Carina and Haruna together upon reaching the Battle Frontier.

Note that with the exception of the Carina and Haruna Double Battle, none of these lineups are seen in the Solar-Flora and Solar-Azure expansions.
