Sims 3 Thread.

Anyone play? Right now I just got Supernatural and I've been playing the living hell out of it.

I actually made a Chihaya/Haruka/Yayoi family for showtime when it came out, although i've since uninstalled my sims3 a few months ago to make space for loads of visual novels. This was before I watched im@s anime so its mostly based on my impressions from playing im@s sp and reading wiki (shouldn't be too far off, after watching anime it still looks fine to me).

It was kind of funny yet sad, while haruka and yayoi were best of friends chihaya somehow could never get along with them.

Huh wow, they still make Sims add-ons? Back in the first Sims days every one was something huge and even if you didn't like the game you at least heard that some add-on is out. Sims 2 weren't that far from that and now... I haven't seen a review of anything except the base game... o_O

Continuing with the spoiler talk, Haruka,Chihaya and Yayoi sound good. If I can get some more sim ideas that'd be great. Perferably Makoto or Azusa with Ritsuko...or if your balls crazy, all of Pro.Fairy and Wandering Star..

Oh I just realised the 'vain' trait for Miki is actually called 'snob'. It might seem a little out of place but i think it's the only one to represent how Miki is always proud of her figure and looks. Social butterfly or maybe diva might be an alternative for this.

As for Drama CDs I dont have any and probably wont be getting any and even if i got it i can't understand it  (I can read japanese kanji with help of a dictionary, but my comprehension of spoken japanese is terribad) so i don't mind being spoiled. I already put Disciplined under Ritsuko since i got that impression from producing her in SP. Anyway for some reason there are very few traits for body, athletic seems like the only one that describes physical fitness. I actually wanted to give that to Miki, considering her figure and dancing but it conflicted with couch potato and that is also the only one to describe laziness. And now that i think about it ambitious/workaholic is probably also fitting for Hibiki, given how seriously she takes the rivalry in SP. Anime Hibiki seems to lack this though.

As for WS i only have PS/MM so i didn't really think about them. But i made a decent (i think) Takane from watching anime so here's my shot at the WS characters:

SP has no Jupiter, anime only touches on their group once in a while. But, challenge accepted because of extreme boredom.

One thing i dislike about sims is how personalities are active all the time, so its hard to accurately portray tsundereish people like Touma, who have 'hidden personalities'. In the end i just went with what i did for Iori, i chose 5 traits that people interacting with him would see. It might be viable to do something like swap out 'snob' for 'good' or something similar if you want a bit of their more dere sides. Otherwise they'll just be tsun all day (although realistically Touma would most likely be tsun all day anyway). I always wanted a tsundere mod for sims, once certain flags are tripped they swap to a second personality type.

Ok, I guessed quite a lot on this one. Anime only shows him being the stereotypical gentleman+flirt. Input from someone who played im@s 2 game (Does Jupiter get enough screentime to be fleshed out like the SP rivals do? I have no idea.) or maybe read the relevant manga would probably help a lot.
