I haven't heard about that, but it might be a joke. At the end of 9th episode of the anime the twins do a preview for a next episode and they ask "Who's doing the preview right now? Ami, Mami, or Nami?" and it then says to check the website to find out who Nami is (I have been unable to find that part of the website).
Basically, if they said something like that, it was probably a joke.
EDIT:
Apparently in some of the game communication sections Nami comes up as a third option. It's turned into a joke that they have another sister.

I've lots of references in doujinshi about them having an older sister and all so it's kinda' ... disappointing(?) to know that it's maybe a joke. Probably Takane would have someone to keep her company while Ami & Mami aren't there. ;)
