Yeah, good idea. Xenoglossia kinda screwed up the characters like Yayoi wasn't as enthusiastic as the main series, Yayoi and Iori kept fighting as cats and dogs Those two are best friends usually right? , Makoto kinda became a bully, Yukiho wasn't as shy, etc. And I got that from just from watching a bit of the first episode and a few funny scenes on youtube. Though the opening themes are catching, you shouldn't even bother watching X.

Edit: Well, you could still try X, but only if you're bored and finished the main series.

Never had too many problems with Chihaya on SP, but then that was a billion times easier than Boxm@s.

Chihaya got a lot of love in the anime though. Other characters... still some love. Maybe not as much, but eh.

Me personally, I'd say that no one can form your own opinion on Xenoglossia but you, so you might want to pick up a few eps to see for yourself. Just... well, they're piloting mechs and beating each other up at times. Some go emo, others start that way. Yup, things are different. ^^

Hmm i always thought SP was basically a port of the X360. Personally i found it difficult to get good/perfect communications with her and you basically autolose tension on average because of stupid morning greetings >:(.

Regarding Xenoglossia i'm reserving my judgement for later, maybe when i get lots of spare time i'll take a look at it. Not going to write it off just because it's outlandish, Muv-Luv proved you can crossover high-school teenage girls into mecha and make epic win out of it.

Meanwhile I've picked up the first episode of the anime, and its looking good so far. I finally get to see producer's face lol.

I never did finish SP... considering it wasn't fully translated way back when I tried to, always thought the project got canceled at some point but I know otherwise now.
But this patcher doesn't seem to want to work with me... some parts are either in really small font or the original Japanese which I can barely understand...
I tried playing Dota 2 but apparently people don't like it when you call the heroes champs...(League of Legends player here)
ANYWAY welcome to the forums! Or should I say welcome officially as it seems you've been around for a while!
