The other release in this Dolls Party is Sakura Shinguji. Apparently, she will not be coming to America.
However, the iDOLM@STER Dollfie Dream are coming to America.

What does this mean for the franchise as a whole?

It means nothing beyond Volks USA having the rights to use iDOLM@STER on their product line.

Idolm@ster is actually trademarked in the US and Europe by Bandai Namco, much like Tales of Xillia and Tales of Rebirth are. It means nothing, but it's done to prevent plagiarism, or anything that could be construed as related to their own (domestic) product.

I would love to see a Dollfie Takane! She would be so beautiful! I've never really been interested in buying a Dollfie before since they're so expensive. I have an ex-friend that collected them but she had quite a bit of money at her disposal. Anyways, the Haruka and Miki Dollfies look adorable, especially Miki. I love her hair. Also, the Floral outfits look really nice! Now, if only I actually had money... /praystowinlottery OTL

I would get one if they didn't cost so much. I remember wanting to get a dollfie when I was eleven, but the cheapest one was $250 and I didn't even like it.

Just in case you weren't aware by your example, Xillia comes out in about a month, and the Shiny Festa games for iOS were the reason for the iM@S trademarks.

hopefully the Shiny Festa localization will cause both of the dolls to be available via US lottery this time.

Last time, if you wanted the im@s DD you had to go through the international lottery and of course you have to pay international shipping.
