I'm convinced this is for Vita and the blog is trying to troll or not release full information. Those graphics are to reminiscent of a 360 or PS3 version of the game. Maybe it's multiplatform for Vita and PSP? On a personal note, I still want to chose what they wear on stage and for there to be DLC songs.
An idol sim on Vita would be nice too...

From the looks of it, Either they have something like prerendered graphics or something with magic, or they are also making it for the Vita. Whatever it be, it reminds me a lot of K-On! Graphics like that can't look that good on the PSP.
