I'm doing a terrible job explaining it, so here's a link:

I'm loving the shiny bursts. Glad you can change the music clips during the songs.

Neko-P:
Oh. Huh.

I'll be holding out for Tonari Ni's Theater setting. (Willing to bet that it's like Otome yo Taishi wo Idake!! in that preview, with the default being the animation, and the burst being the Theater.)

Also, still really like Miki's alternate hairstyle. Not sure why, but I am.

Maka:
They picked the wrong anime screenshot for Yakusoku, lol.

Did anyone else notice the Kyun Vampire Girl screenshot? Dat Yayoi/Iori.

Yeah, I just did and was about to comment on it! Isn't it cute? Iori must've been scared poor Yayoi, sooo cute.

But more to the point of actual gameplay: I think you explained it better, Scotty! It's kind of confusing. So just to double-check:
1) There are four different styles
2) Each song has two different styles
3) The styles for each song are pre-determined. For example, I can't choose to play Ready!! with any two of the styles. They are already decided (For example, anime and stage)
4) You can swap between these styles by doing well in the game.

A question though; can you choose the style to start with? And are there any benefits to using your Shining Meter? I imagine it'd be like Guitar Hero's Star Power, where the notes are worth extra points while active.

Scotty:
Bingo to all of that.
