That's MSRP. No one's actually charging that much.

Amazon
AmiAmi
Hey, that ain't bad! About... $88 for one game and the shipping, which is easily in budget. I promised myself I wouldn't spend over $120 importing this so I'm pretty excited this is affordable for me! Maybe I'll pick up some iM@S merch while I'm paying for shipping anyhow. =w=

As much I would love to play the games in the vita because I really do.  It would be cheaper just to buy the UMDs with EMS than the digital downloads for me.  Point cards are pure murder if you dont live in Japan.

It mostly depends where you get the points from. Of course, if you have someone vacationing in Japan to buy them for you, it's probably cheaper. That said, I ironically paid more to buy a copy of Wandering Star from Playasia rather than downloading it. I paid $72 dollars for PSN points from Japan Codes to download Missing Moon and with that (also wanted to download a DLC song as well for my Let's Play of Idolmaster 2, which is why I bought the points too), I think it came about a few dollars cheaper providing that you can actually find a copy of it since that is out of print.

Still, I think you can still buy a significantly cheaper download copy (about 500-700 yen) if you have a physical one through the UMD Passport program. Not sure if it worked because it wouldn't recognize my copy of Wandering Star, probably because the cheaper version is out... but whatever.

Play-Asia finally have preorders up. I get Play-Asia credit if you buy through these links. Congratulate me for making a wondrous thread and being the first to bring this miraculous information to this forum's attention.

Buy The Idolm@ster Shiny Festa: Honey Sound (Sony PSP) at Play-Asia.com>
Buy The Idolm@ster Shiny Festa: Funky Note (Sony PSP) at Play-Asia.com>
Buy The Idolm@ster Shiny Festa: Groovy Tune (Sony PSP) at Play-Asia.com>

Or, you can just buy them without helping me out whatsoever, like a shameful person.

Okay, so here's an unintelligent question: I hear all about Japanese and Asian copies of the iDOLM@STER games, but I'm not entirely sure on the difference. And I assume Play-Asia sells the Asian copy?

I want to get at least two versions and the JP versions doesn't help. It's almost like paying for a JP PS3 game now.

That's the japanese version, as you can see there's a japanese flag under the title. ;) At this time there's still no word on an asian version.

I completely forgot about that thing. How does it work?

They sell both Asian and Japanese, as well as PAL-territory and North American games. The item's page will indicate which one it is.

You download some application from the Japanese Playstation Network and run it with the UMD in it.

Cool. Are those permanently tied to your PSN account even if you don't buy them immediately?

Just watched the online show about the gameplay from nico video. I edited the video myself and uploaded to youtube.

They showed the following songs:
Go My Way
乙女よ大志を抱け!!
Brand New Day
Ready

But Ready ended early because they have to cut into CM...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TS-wudRFhZo

Please let me know if there's problem with the video.

Looks pretty easy, but fun. Though I'd assume there'd be multiple difficulties. Either way, looking forward to it!  ;D

Video's fine for me btw. Thanks for the upload!

Wow, it looks like some of the songs that have received less attention from Namco are getting at least partial dances in glorious HQ, judging from Otome yo. I dunno about anyone else, but I'd rather have that than customization.

I think there are multiple difficulties? Go My Way had like a fraction of the button presses that the others did. Maybe different songs are harder.
