That's what I'm saying. NBGI chose PSP because it's quick and easy at this point. They can go ahead and suck up the fact that it'll easily be pirated. This could have done very well as a Vita PSN download, like Mutant Blobs or Escape Plan, which have been very successful titles.

Yeah, then there'd be the problem of availability to us in other countries, but I'd rather have them support Vita quickly than make easy cash.

Daverost:
The problem there is that Vita's install base is a lot smaller and PSP download games still work on it. If the hardware boost isn't necessary, there's not much point in taking that financial risk. Besides, the life cycle of the system isn't over yet.

Scotty:
Not saying it's over, the PS2 lived on way past PS3's release. I only wanted them to embrace the new hardware sooner, not later.  Had it come out on VIta, the install base would be that much closer to PSP's. But whatever, it's on PSP, I'll still be getting it. With a sour look on my face.

I agree. I feel like it was a poor buisness move, developing it for the PSP rather than the PS Vita when it so desperately needs new titles, not to mention the creater hardware capabilities. But as you said, it's easier for them to crank out another title on the PSP rather than muscle through the new technology, and we'll still buy it regardless.

However, this is a blessing for me. Other than Touch My Katamari, I have no inclination to buy a PS Vita so I'm very grateful it'll be released on the PSP instead.

Daverost:
I certainly wouldn't have minded another Vita game to justify my purchase, but when they're putting out three of them, I'm glad it's PSP. It's significantly cheaper that way.
