THE iDOLM@STER > THE iDOLM@STER SP (PSP) series
Idolmaster Shiny Festa

Don't think so, when you start a performance the voltage meter is always empty and it can only increase, not decrease.
Burst appeals are special appeals you can use when the voltage meter is full in "traditional" iM@S games.

Guessing just doesn't sit well with me. Hopefully, this game will be more to my speed.
Sorry, I don't know nearly enough about the iDOLM@STER games.
What does a "Best" version include? What's a good estimate until they're released?
How much do you think Shiny Festa would cost just as it comes out, or pre-ordered?
Er, I suppose I should head over to that thread we have about shipping from Japan for most of these questions but I suppose they are related to Shiny Festa.
Though, on a more objective topic:
There seems to be an awful lot of gripes about Shiny Festa, namely DLC. Is it at all possible for a foreign PSP to download Japanese, iM@S DLC?
And just to double-check: PSP doesn't have a region-lock, does it?

Totally region-free. ;) And yes, you can download japanese DLCs, just need a japanese PSN account and a japanese PSN Card (or a japanese credit card :p)

Best versions include the base game. In other words, no pre-order bonus content (like DLC or posters) or anything like that. Just the vanilla content that you would get if you bought it used or something.
As far as an estimate, probably less than a year from the original release. iM@S2 PS3 is getting a Best version in August and the game originally came out in October, so it was only 10 months.

The PSP and PS Vita are region free... but the PSN accounts are locked to the country you create it in.

Unless you have CFW with some plugins... ;)
Daverost:
Is PSP DLC locked to the account you bought it on, or is it like PS3 where any account can use it after it's been downloaded?
