I'll have to hold out until Christmas for this, unfortunately. Hopefully it won't be sold out by then. I'll probably ask for Groovy Tune since it has all my favorite characters, then just wait to buy Honey Sound and Funky Note next summer when I go to Japan, since that was pretty much what I did in acquiring the SP games.

I hope so too. It's probably pretty high. SP also had Asian release.

I know SP had them. If they do make Asian versions, I can definitely afford 2 versions or all 3 depending on how cheap they cost.

Alright... I guess this will be the first iM@S game I buy, do to issues with obtaining one of those fancy translated copies of SP.
Now... figuring out how to order it while maintaining a certain level of self-respect...

And the language barrier...

Gosh, I hope these aren't too expensive along with shipping, and that they are even playable without any knowledge of Japanese.
And that my family won't bother me too much about it.

I'm afraid the chances are very slim. In Shiny Festa there will be some aniM@S clips and you know... aniM@S songs weren't available for the asian version of iM@S2.

Actually, only the DLCs weren't released. READY!! was on the disc, so there still is a chance for an Asian release. Expect for that version to get the shaft though.

I got the Asian Version of iM@S 2 for the PS3 and it's exactly the same as the JP version with the same content. You simply can't download most of the DLC songs from the Asian PSN. You can download them from the JP PSN and it will work on the Asian version of the game. I know this because I have almost all the DLC songs on my Asian copy running.

So if there is a Asian release of these games, the content on the game should be exactly the same for either version.
