Well, extremely awesome news for you: the good people over at NBGI felt the same way, bought a bunch of Macs (or perhaps they simply used Windows and made it with Adobe AIR), and developed THE iDOLM@STER MOBILE i.

It's exactly what you think: THE iDOLM@STER for iPhone. The trailer (which will be the first thing to be shown upon accessing idolmaster.jp) shows stuff like what you'd expect from an iM@S game: you can conquer Japan with moe attack combo, and yes you can poke your idols with your finger, just like console version but more "personal". And you can get your favorite idols to spell out the time for you like a screensaver. Makes iPhone's clock infinitely better, if only for the audio

Just make sure you turn that feature off during that important meeting with your clients, 'cept if your clients happen to love your idol too.

The screenshot over at their site also shows something along the lines of twitter, but IDK what good it is for.

This is a good reason for me to jump ship from BlackBerry to iPhone, if the services are available offline (especially the clock announcing thing). Of course, if it is available outside Japan. You iPhone users may want to check the App Market with keyword "aimoba i" (the first compound is in katakana, the 'i' part is in romaji), perhaps they have this outside Japan too.

THE iDOLM@STER MOBILE i is only available for iOS5. Perhaps they'll make HD version of this for iPad2?
