so much hair. @_@  Anime/game characters tend to have tons of hair, so it is unusual for someone to have more hair than their character.

edit: I didn't mean that in a negative way.  I have no clue how people manage to stuff their hair under a wig like that.

I myself recently finished my Miki, but that new blue DLC costume is fairly easy compared to luxury. How are you going to go about the belt?

Yes, I have always wanted to see Haruka with long hair. Now I have. Good job! Just watch out for stairs, kids, and straight, flat ground without any bumps in it whatsoever when you take that to a con.

... Though recently, I've realized that Uzuki Shimamura reminds me of Haruka (no surprise), though Uzuki has long hair. (Yeah I know, half a year right in front of me all this time, and I just noticed a few weeks ago.) No wonder she's somewhere in my CG top idols list.

You stick your hair in a big head sock, then put the wig on over it.

  okay serisously though Nice job on the costume, so far Im loving it even your hair matches haruka's to some extent, the texture of the clothing really stands out now all yah need to do is ramp up the voice LOL

I might break my rule and sew on a weekday since I can't work out tonight. Does anyone actually wanna see my boot cover process? If so (sew!)  I'll take pictures and upload my prototypes here.

Whoa, I haven't been able to check in for a few days... and that is some awesome progress since then!  The vest turned out quite nice, it sparkles like the real... um... fictional... deal!  The boots are groovy, the entire ensemble comes together really well.  You say you're in the home stretch, yet it's already perfect so far.  You're a nice match for Haruka as it is, be it the long hair or wig.

Good luck on the finishings, extremely impressive work so far.
