I finished the vest..but...Gah...I'm really unhappy with it. I don't know what to do.

I imagine the vest would be the more difficult part of the entire ensemble.  The orientation of it seems fussy to nail down with how the sides never come together.  Perhaps after you finish the brassiere portion, you could come back and give it some adjustment?

Thanks! The main problem with the vest is the way that it is fitting. Plus my lining fabric choice is really hard to iron so in general it is not coming together well.

I ordered my wig yesterday and also the "Rough Time School" costume.
Now I'll have that to wear another day along with Scarlet Sprite.

I always liked the idea of a persistent cosplayer that used more than one outfit for a convention.  If it's a character that has that option, groovy to pull it off over the convention time.  Variety is good after all.

Keep it up, and I hope it starts to come together in way that you're pleased with.

I got a better vest pattern yesterday. This one is waaaay better and exactly what I need.

Yep. Thanks. Rough Time School also seems to be an iconic favorite for im@s.
I'm doubting that's a proper translation because I saw a bunch of people call it 'Laugh Time School' which sorta makes more sense.

and seeing that all the sparkly luxury outfits are difficult to make exactly because of the fabric, but Haruka has one of the nicest outfits of that series I am looking forward to the time when the pictures come ^^

Thanks so much, tsukihime. Scarlet sprite is indeed a pretty difficult color combo but I love it!

I got a vest pattern so I'll probably/most-likely/provided that I don't slack off make it this weekend.

HUGE UPDATE!

Vest and top are now finished.
Top was from Charlotte Russe for $10, then I cut it down and made it shorter.
Temporary boots were from Goodwill for $15.

Don't know how many times I made this vest before it being perfect. ^w^ Really proud of it now.

I myself recently finished my Miki, but that new blue DLC costume is fairly easy compared to luxury. How are you going to go about the belt?
