Dandy figures, there! Where do you get your fix from? I try to range my figure buys from $20-50+ if possible, but I'd make exceptions if things are particularly rare.

Just nothing above $100, though; that's a stretch even for me and it's heartbreaking because Beach Queens Chihaya goes for less very rarely. Also, CAD sucks. ;~;

Either Amazon.jp or AmiAmi.
The Haruka figure was less than 3k yen for some reason. <3 Amazing deal!

Good props on that catch. :3

Amazon.jp is promising, if a bit disconcerting. Can you input English details like for account registration and shipping specifics? I hope it'd be as seamless as overseas' Amazon.com.

It's easier to just use a Japanese contact to order things and ship them to you, especially since some items aren't even eligible for international shipping (like video games).

If the item is sold through a 3rd party through Amazon you can sometimes just send them a message and ask them to ship internationally. I did it for a book I really wanted. :3

That being said, you may have to ask in Japanese!

Again, a little disconcerting. Here's to hoping Babelfish works well enough for such an occasion! x3

Do I have any Lucky Star fans? Here's a pic of the Washinomiya Shrine in daylight.

Took it from the other side, but this might look familiar to fans of the original Im@s...

Finally, this is not anime.

Lo and (not really) behold; it's the Revenge of Quarter-Assed Cam Quality!

BUT THAT'S BESIDE THE POINT. D:<

Context is what truly matters; I now have my all-time-favourite idol trio of the Beach Queens line! Firstly, I had the Ritsuko figure for quite awhile when it re-released back in September 2013, but Chihaya and Yukiho came in today -- well, more like something two weeks ago. I was held down by life stuff so my only conclusion's that the shipping time's really good, apparently. :P

Along with Ritsuko, Yukiho came from Ebay with a particularly generous discount of $34 USD. Moreover, Chihaya's the real cream of the crop as she came from Ami-Ami's used figure section. For being a $50ish B/B purchase (my first one, no less), she's surprisingly flawless; there's no discernible damage nor anything missing so the only thing I can deem it as is a fucking steal.

I love it and forever feel content so I can finally shut up about it and all that smooth jazz. :3

Noticed people post pics of their figures here so thought I would post the few pictures I have of the one figure I own. It's a figma figure of Kaiji from the manga+anime Kaiji. It cost 70$. I really want a Chie Satonaka figma and that new Rin Hoshizora nendoroid that came out. Would be nice to have some Idolm@ster figures and Jojo's Bizarre Adventure figures as well, but gosh figures are so expensive for what they are.

This photo would've been pristine if they hadn't plowed the sidewalk. ::)

Edit: Added another photo of the same trees from today (Dec 11, 2014). Which do you prefer?

The room really wasn't this dark, the flower was just very brightly lit.

As I probably said before, I'm a virtual pet enthusiast - not just Digimon, but pretty much all the other lines as well, so I figured I'd drop in and introduce everyone to my current Tamagotchi, Moriritchi.  Nothing else much to say right now, aside from the fact that she's being raised on the Tamagotchi iD L 15th Anniversary version.  :)
