Amazon.jp is promising, if a bit disconcerting. Can you input English details like for account registration and shipping specifics? I hope it'd be as seamless as overseas' Amazon.com.

It's easier to just use a Japanese contact to order things and ship them to you, especially since some items aren't even eligible for international shipping (like video games).

If the item is sold through a 3rd party through Amazon you can sometimes just send them a message and ask them to ship internationally. I did it for a book I really wanted. :3
That being said, you may have to ask in Japanese!
