I bullshit cosplayed Touma in both casual and stage outfit at least year's AX.  And the only reason I say bullshit was because I did not understand how to style a wig nor did I bother.

Unfortunately couldn't make it this year, but will next year.


I played around with my NX2000 while I was shooting fireworks with friends.  I have ridiculously shaky hands and focusing in the dark and in a window of a second is extremely tough.

Anyone have any tips on embroidery? I asked my mom to do some embroidery for me, but when she got my sweater to me, she only did an outline and didn't fill it in... which means I gotta do it myself.

I'm no good with hand embroidery, but thankfully I have an embroidery machine. The downside is the thing is so old it only has a set number of patterns it knows how to embroider and the manual embroidery is difficult for me.

Don't actually have any of that. I'm doing this by hand since I don't have a machine, but I don't even think the hoop would have helped (at least, that's what I heard). The outline was stitched (by hand) on a cloth backing on the inside of the sweater, and some of the stitches I've done have gone through and scrunched up that cloth a bit.

I'm kinda out of time since con is tomorrow, but at least I have everything filled in. I just have to hope these threads don't come loose. One of these days, probably after this weekend, all the threads will get popped and this will be done for real, but for now... well, it's rough, but it's mine.

Dandy figures, there! Where do you get your fix from? I try to range my figure buys from $20-50+ if possible, but I'd make exceptions if things are particularly rare.

Just nothing above $100, though; that's a stretch even for me and it's heartbreaking because Beach Queens Chihaya goes for less very rarely. Also, CAD sucks. ;~;
