Yesterday I went to the airport with my uncle and my cousin to fetch my aunt, who is returned home from Canada (in Scarborough area where my female cousin and her mom lives) and I got this as a gift from my tita (Filipino term for 'aunt').

Better keep this as a keepsake.

Those might be gone pretty soon. The $100 and $50 bills are now made of plastic, and I think the $20 might be switching over too. But if you really want something cool, you can try to find old 1 and 2 dollar bills, which don't exist in Canada anymore.

I have to wait for the new 20-Canadian dollar that I actually saw it on Wikipedia, and the reverse side is the monument commemorating the Battle of Vimy Ridge in World War I, where the Canadian/British alliance win over the three divisions of the German Sixth Army. It will be released this time in November of this year.

The quote, that is correct. It reminds me of the payroll devil in The Game of LIFE for the PC, in which I played it during my spare time.

Reminds me of my misprinted $10 bill. It has the security features of a $20, but the appearance of a $10. Anyway, I've heard that polymer (aka plastic) bills are a huge pain for machines to handle due to the lack of friction with the material.

Speaking of polymer bills, A few days ago I've read an article about polymer bills melt in the heat. It is kind of amusing about how these polymer bills are made tougher for different scenarios except heat.

I also heard that the new polymer bills don't absorb oils, so touching them too much can actually make them not work in vending machines and the like. Then again, Israel is an example of a country where polymer bills have been used for a while, so if they can get them to work I'm sure we can.
