Guys, keep me posted.  When this comes out I'm going to do a live broadcast of me playing the location game since I got the location spoofer to work as intended.

Unless you had intended on getting an iPhone beforehand for other purposes, I would rather you get an iPod Touch if having a smartphone isn't priority to you. If you do have the opportunity to get an iPhone however, then by all means, take it. You never realize how useful smartphones are until you have one.

Thank you very much for bringing that up. Before this I had already decided that if I were to get a iOS device it would be a iPod Touch because it is basically a iPhone without the phone part and at a much lower price and without any carrier fees. Still, this game isn't enough to convince me to get one because I still view the device as little more than an expensive toy which has a library of games that are on the same level as the games I've been playing for free using Flash for years and it just so happens that iOS devices don't support Flash so I can't play both its games and Flash games on it.

The crazy thing with Apple and its devices is that you don't know how great they are until you actually buy one.  Didn't expect the iPad to have any practical use in any way and now I'm using it for schoolwork and other things.  iPod Touch is a pretty useful smartphone substitution until you go in a place that doesn't have an available wireless network to piggyback on.

True that... and there is a nice Kanji dictionary you can get free, which can be useful if you are studying Japanese.
