The kits themselves can range between the $30-$100 range based on scale and quality of the cast.
Then getting one commissioned to be assembled varies by artist, but I've gotten some quotes and they often go up into the $200-$300 range. (Also a lot of garage kit people state side usually work with realistic/fantasy and not anime)

I think getting into the hobby would be really fun, but it does require a lot of time and money to do it right. ^_^ You're going to have to obtain all the tools and skills if you want to do it yourself!

I think I'll have to pass haha. Really the main reason I wanted it is because I have the Project Fairy Hibiki and I would have bought the PF Takane with that Miki so I would have had the complete trio xD
