I always delay replies on topics like these, I guess 'cause I have to put some thought into them. I went ahead and looked those up, the forms seem (to me, at least) to be very straight and already condensed to try to use as little windup as possible - maybe this is that what I hear about the punches being used a lot in really tight spots. 'Least, that's my opinion watching.

I've seen some stuff that's overly exaggerated, though perhaps that isn't really a bad thing. The theory was start big - wind up your hook, sit back all the way, then let loose pretty large (but still controlled). Later, you'll condense the stuff, but what's important is that you understand where to place your energy. 'Course, that means use your head when you do the form... ^^
