I'm not gonna lie, these beads can really be a pain sometimes since my iron doesn't like to distribute heat evenly. Some parts tend to get over done, and other areas just refuse to hook together sometimes, but it really just takes patience. I've been lucky that none of my mistakes weren't too bad that I have had to start over yet. 
When the time comes, I'll start my own thread to show them off. I was hoping to make all the idols eventually, or at least my fav trio once I get done making gifts for everyone.
I see... I always hated it when they overheat too because that just makes the entire figure just.. deformed.
Patience, yeah one of the key priorities in life. You gotta' have lots of patience while your drawing as well, take my word for it. X3 Oh, well I think starting a thread for yourself would be a great idea! :3 It'll help you get better
and maybe make a few bucks. 
Still, I think that's a great idea, including making all the idols or the characters you would like to make. I hate to continue with the questions, but have you ever tried to make something, three-dimensional? ,':3
