Also, regarding the poll, this may be a very key factor in the next CD selection. Or it may BE the next CD selection. Namdai may be just too lazy to do it themselves lol. And I may be wrong, but according to the time between the releases, in 4 months (like December) is when the next wave will likely be released.

Nah, the first day peek was just there to spur on the rage of people who like unpopular idols and get them to start mass voting. ahaha

We aren't gonna know the results of the poll until the 30th. Voting itself ends on the 26th and then they'll be tallying votes, making the new SR Cards for the [Cinderella Girl], and whatever the runner ups in the poll are supposed to get.

I'm hoping the other placements will at least get Akane-class Rares or something.

As far as I know, they're all just "Trainer".

They are all sisters though, with Rookie Trainer as the youngest and Master Trainer as the oldest. I don't actually know where that fact comes from [i think one of the trainers mentions her sister], but a friend told me about it.

So... do we know ANYTHING about Senkawa Chihiro? I know she's your "helper" in the game, and she's really cute, but beyond that I don't seem to be able to find anything, and there isn't much fan art of her. (There's more fanart of Mio.) Granted, I did find a card-version of her, but I didn't know what to make of it, since it was purple, had a moon symbol, and was labelled as "Unei" rather than "Rare" or it's like, even though it has the same amount of stars as "S Rare+"

1) IMO, it's a 50-50 thing. It could end up with people being annoyed by her, like how FeiFei appears too often in gacha (or so I heard).
2) See above.
3) Except for the possibly-our-imaginary obligation Namco has, no. I don't think so. Everyone who hasn't gotten a CD yet is back to square one, with some having an advantage over the others. If this is Cygames' attempt to boost Mio's popularity, then maybe.
4) As of this point, no. She gets one fanart every 10-or-so days and had a short-lived headswap session. Her path to that is long. Way long. But for sure, she'll get there if she's successful, and that has to be decided by us, the fans. And simply discussing it won't do anything.

In any case, I really do want Mio to get a boost, but I guess I'll have to do it myself.

Being completely honest, I really, really like this new group of girls. Partially because they are designed to be a unit from the get-go; it might be why I like Project Fairy and Ryuuguu Komachi so much. They just seem to belong together...

However, I get the feeling that they won't "replace" Mio. Namco does not, strictly speaking, have an obligation to Mio. But I doubt she'd be passed over for these newbies. As I mentioned earlier, Izumi, Sakura, and Ako were designed as a unit, unlike most other CGirls. The CG CDs are designed as solo singles, which the default groups (Project Fairy, Ryuuguu Komachi, and Jupiter; to a lesser extant the DS group) never get until after their group song. (Overmaster and KisS for PF, though Miki had albums before that; after RK was formed, Smoky Thrill came out before their newest image songs; Jupiter didn't get solo songs until the Jupiter CD, quite some time after the game's two singles.) I'm not saying they'll get a group song, but if they anything, it's likely they'll get a group song first. But even then, it'll probably not happen until after Mio's CD.

... And remember that this is all baseless and such, but it's how I see it. And I wouldn't even mind seeing them first, since their adorable and more interesting than the New Generation girls.

I can't help but wonder if Namdai is gonna give the New Wave trio CD releases. I mean, they seem likely to get a release seeing as how they share similarities with the 876 crew and how they're meant to be a trio from the beginning.

But I also wonder if they'll do the same thing they're doing now, with each idol being released in a wave with 4 other popular CG idols or with their wave with only them?

And I haven't given up on Mio. I believe they'll come through and give her her time in the light.

A little side note, but I love how Uzuki's song lyrics seem to reflect her struggle of getting a CD, with the normal heroine lyrics thrown in. :3

100% agree with you and it sweet, uzuki song is my favorite in wave 2.

Interesting thing with the New Wave idols; the members fill out at least two different kinds of "power trios," if the information I've been given is correct. First, the Id-Ego-Superego trio is represented with Ako-Sakura-Izumi respectively, and secondly, Izumi is reportedly a cynical person, which, when paired with Idealistic Sakura and likely-Realist Ako, creates a Three Philosophical Ensemble. (An ensemble that is usually a quartet with Apathetic or Conflicted, but eh.) Of course, they seem to fight less often than the latter ensemble usually does, but eh. Still love 'em. X3

Alright, folks. More speculation time. Please look at the image here.

These are obviously ads posted around Akibahara for Cinderella Girls. But I want to divert your attention to the single-character boards featured. There are 15 different boards present that feature only one character. Ten of these have appeared in the Cinderella Master CDs. Taking them out, we are left with five idols, namely Mio Honda, Natalia, Sae Kobayakawa, Nana Abe and Mizuki Kawashima.

Here’s the speculation: What if these were the members of the discussed Wave 3 of Cinderella Master CDs? What if they’re already decided and we’re secretly being fed this information? It’s possible that it’s not, but it’s still possible that it is. But that makes the type distribution uneven. Does that mean that the powers that be don’t care about balancing? Or appearing to not have balance, assuming there’ll be more waves after them? And expanding on that, what if the ones to get a CD isn’t limited to the initial idols (which the first two waves have implied)? This makes the guessing of who gets a CD even harder.

Whatever the case maybe, for sure that the earlier mentioned names are ones who we should keep an eye on in the future. Who knows? It may be true and they’ll be our Wave Three representatives. What do you think?
