Books: What have you been reading?

SakuraMaxX:
Now reading Logan's Run.  I like sci-fi dystopian books a lot.  Any suggestions?  Favorites of the genre would be Fahrenheit 451 and 1984.

Brave New World by Aldous Huxley reminds me of 1984 except it puts a happy face on fascism.  The Forever War is not dystopian per-se, but it sure ended on a downer.

baruhara:
Just finished Game of Thrones (George R. R. Martin) and was thoroughly saddened that both of my favourite characters died before the end of the first book. I started Lion of the Sun (Harry Sidebottom), and I plan to finish it after my exams.

If it's Strike Witches, that is enough to make me interested.

Edited For: Typo.

I want to hear what you think of it when you get the chance to read it, if you haven't already.

As for books: gotta read textbooks for finals soon.

I would probably like to share my opinions on it, too, but...

Same here. Philosophy, politics, history and psychology are only fun when you don't have exams on them.
