Books: What have you been reading?

I don't think that there's a thread for this, so...

What books have you been reading? Doesn't matter if they're for learning or for recreation.

For me, I've been reading textbooks on World, Western Civilization, and Modern Middle East History, as well as one for Abnormal Psychology.

I've also finished reading Harry Turtledove's The Guns of the South. It's an alternate history account of the American Civil War in which people from the future give AK-47's to the Confederate Army. The Confederates win, and now the new nation of the Confederate States of America has to deal with the issue of slavery, the technology given, and the intentions of the people that gave them such weapons.

Naryoril:
Lately i'v been "reading" Minna no Nihongo, a textbook to learn japanese

My last recreational reading was The Wavering of Haruhi Suzumiya

Well, and currently i'm also reading/playing Clannad, as it's a visual novel i'd say you could call it reading, although it isn't a book

tsukihime:
a lot of manga, can't even remember which ones, and of course all kinds of chemistry/biochemistry and cellbiology lecture scripts, exams are coming up. But generally a trend among science students, we tend to read less outside of the spectre of our studies ^^;

PinoyCruger:
I am currently reading some of the General Fiction, Non-Fiction, Humor and some textbooks, mainly to learn and write Japanese.

Currently, I read Arnel Aquitania's 'To Kill a Angry Bird' and 'Read, Write Japanese'.

animagic4u:
