I'm soooo used to transposing because when you play piano it is really easy. All you have to do is decide what you want your new key to be and shift all the notes over which is really easy to visualize.

Good luck! ^^

well yeah, on a piano transposing is easy, just move by a desired number of keys. when it comes to an ocarina it's a bit harder. and since i haven't been playing very long and very much i have enough to think about when i use a music sheet without transposing. So transposing on the fly is pretty much a no go at the moment. But since the music sheets in the Master Book are printed quite small anyway i just printed out some empty music sheets and write the song down, already transposed by an octave.

It's written in the full score though, right?

what do you mean?

it's not the master versoin of the songs, just the short ingame version. but it includes a bunch of instruments (even though some are really strange, like the flute in aoi tori, it has chords...). look at the links BT2 posted, you can see there how the scores look.

That's what I meant. It has multiple instruments. Nice. ^^

I'm currently trying to learn a few songs by ear to play on my flute. . . Not sure when I'll ever have an upload up, though. I'm thinking of tackling Yakusoku first.

I know this thread is rather old, but does anyone happen to have hi res scans of the master book? I appreciate the scans BT2 posted but several of the images are too small to read and I would like to have the whole book if possible.
