What and what not to put into the wiki

Just asking, or a suggestion if you want to think of. Why not putting a stream (only the music no video) or download link of the songs beside the lyrics? I mean like, in a page, you put the lyric (of a song), then you put streaming music besides it. People may want to hear it or try to sing it while reading for the lyric (for the ones who don't have the songs). This is just a suggestion though.

Don't post direct download links for material that may attract authorities (licensed music, game copies, etc), for obvious reasons. You are allowed to link to another website (this of course does not include file sharing websites).

Then, streaming?

No, that doesn't work either, because it would still have to be stored locally to fit in the wiki. The wiki philosophy is that it should be self-contained and not be dependent on external sources.

EDIT: I suppose if there are official downloads or streams, they could be put in the External Links section at the bottom of a lyrics page. But I doubt such downloads or streams exist in general.

I see... Thanks for considering it though.
