Audition and lesson help.

I got Idolm@ster 2 for christmas, and I'm having trouble with the japanese.

When I put my Idol's up for Auditions and Lessons, I managed to pick the wrong button and they do the lessons and auditions themselves, which I wouldn't mind, but I don't know the right option to pick so I can do the auditions and lessons with them, if anyone could help it'd be very much appreciated.

It took me a little while to figure this out myself but you should always pick the option on the left side of the screen to do the auditions and lessons with them. Because if you pick the option on the right side then they end up doing them on their own. That's pretty much all I have to say for now. I hope this helps.

You can just disable the prompt if you don't want to constantly go through the prompt. I believe it's option menu screen 2 (the middle one), second option from the top.
