Lol that motivational poster.

I feel a bit like that episode was lacking.
Clip show, trip ride, no new office.

Not to mention the concert scene which IMO was animated so poorly.

Not one of the best eps of the series...could've ended stronger.
My favorite part is the ending sequence with Jupiter and 876 productions. :D

And that was the end!  (Late, I know, but I was away from a computer while elsewhere.  Happy New Year everyone!)

Wondered when the hell they were going to use that animation from the first opening.  I mean, they took the time to animate it, so I was expecting them to chuck it into a concert scene somewhere.

That was ... a bit short.  Although I'm sure it was as long as the other episodes, it felt short, maybe with all the concert stuff.
I think episode 13 would have made a better ending for the series (but then we wouldn't have gotten 14 to 25 after [especially Ep 20])

Something will be announced in January you say?  It'd better be either:
a) iM@S will be subtitled/will not be region locked
b) iM@S 3 (or Dearly Stars 2, or some new game)
c) iM@S anime season 2
or d) iM@S characters appearing as DLC for some other game that goes out worldwide (at least.  There were fighter plane paint skins in Ace Combat 6 for iM@S 1, so ... anything for iM@S 2?)
Must learn Japanese one of these days ... T_T

Finally finished watching it.

That was pretty great. Not the last ep itself, it felt pretty standard, but the show as a whole. It really sucked that I wasn't able to enjoy it and comment on it as much as I should have, or on time. I guess this just had to come out when I've been burned out on anime. Still, it was exactly what I wanted. After being a fan of this for so long, going through Xenoglossia, and getting hyped for that one OVA, it's all I ever really wanted when it came to anime adaptions. No, it wasn't amazing, it wasn't jaw-dropping, but I never expected it to be. It's just iDOLM@STER, and that makes me happy that I finally get to say I watched a legit, actual anime about iM@S. Finally.

The last episode really did end on a good note, hinting at how it could continue into another season, and that'd be pretty cool. I'm not going to speculate on the chances or whatever, I'm completely content with what we got. I'm just glad that I can see more people are into iM@S than ever before.

I felt the last episode wasn't as good as it could have been. The series overall was pretty well-done (although I do have a few complaints), and I'm sad that it ended...

Also still a little bummed about Project Fairy not being in the anime.

I really like it personally. But I agree it could've gone off with a big bang I give it a 9/10.

Well, fine.  As a whole, the anime stayed true to iM@S.  About time it happened really.
And more people getting into it ... I've kinda annoyed my friends over it for about ... the past quarter?  They'll come around I'm sure.  XD

Wonder what (and when) that announcement will be.  Please, let it NOT be Xenoglossia 2.  Just ... no.

I thought the anime ended nicely although my biggest complaint was all the focus Miki got. Characters like, the twins, Yayoi and Yukiho were treated like joke characters and that really pissed me off ._.

I know what you mean. As a Yukiho fan I wasn't too happy with the way they treated Yukiho in the show. Reason: They exaggerated her fear of dogs and men in her own episode and as a result she got all the hate for it. Though I still thought it was a pretty good episode though. And then the writers decided to completely ignore her throughout most of the show after that. She did get some good moments later on such as her birthday in ep 22 and Little Match girl in episode 23 but still.

Even though I don't really care for Yayoi, I felt she was pretty poorly handled as well. She didn't really get that much screentime in her own episode if you ask me. Then she ended up being a problem role in episode 10 and then the writers decided to completely ignore her for the rest of the show as well.

I don't dislike Miki or anything but I felt that she had way too much spotlight throughout the show. It felt to me the writers were playing favorites in terms of character focus and spotlight. But that's probably just me.

But overall I did like the show despite the fact that Yukiho was kind of neglected throughout most of the show.

Hell, they managed to turn the Yayoi episode into an Iori episode somehow.
But, yeah I agree. Makoto was ignored most of the show but it still was a nice ride. I can't wait to see what the announcement is.

I feel sorta the same as you guys.
Some of our favorite characters got pretty neglected. I thought Makoto, though, had some really crowning moments of awesome in her episodes which made up for the lack of her.
For example, I love Azusa, and her episode was downright epic! ^^ Even though the rest of the show lacked her presence (even at the RK concert! @.@) her episode made up for it.

I felt like Haruka was getting pretty neglected until like the last few eps there.

As much as I hate saying it...I wanted more Yukiho. I don't really like Yukiho, but I wanted this anime to make me like all the characters. Her episode (even with that cool part at the end) just wasn't enough to get me to like her just yet. However, it did make me like Takane more.

When you think about it Haruka was pretty neglected most of the show as well which really surprised me considering she was supposed to be one of the main characters in im@s.

The reason why I wanted more Yukiho myself was because all the hate she got over her own episode. I was looking at some other anime sites and saw all the hate she was getting over the anime and it really pissed me off. Her episode was pretty good in my opinion but not the best due to all the hate she got over it. Realistically I don't expect everyone to like Yukiho as much as I do but I don't think she deserved all the hate she got over anim@s.

I almost forgot to mention in the previous post that I thought Hibiki was treated pretty poorly as well considering she got the worst idol centered episode out of all the other idols in the show. Even though she is in the middle in my personal ranking, she didn't deserve such a crappy episode that she got.

But overall anim@s hasn't changed my opinion on any of the idols except for Miki.

Yeah, sorry guys, you'll just have to deal with the fact that Miki is the best.

That's a fact.

Not an opinion.

Miki didn't even get that much exposure. Haruka and Chihaya did.

I would have liked to seen more of Yayoi and Takane. They didn't even remotely COVER the forced marriage part of Takane's real story.
