Fruit Costume?

Don't throw away those preconceptions just yet... you're probably closer to reality than that sloppily-colored image.  (Look at Yukiho's pink cherries for comparison.)  It's kind of embarassing for me because I live in the state with the obsession with peaches but can't remember what they look like.  Nectarines are close though, and they're a mottled mix of red, orange, and yellow.  Most breeds of apples aren't a single solid color either.  Peach crayons are pink, but crayons are ironically not known for their accuracy.

What identifies her costume as a peach is the nub on her hat... which nectarines also have?

I think it's just the style of her boot. The way her feet are lined up doesn't make it too clear, but her right foot is flat on the floor and her left on her heel. The way it's drawn, the sole is actually from her left foot, so the light green isn't bleeding.

To be honest, I thought you were talking about that red dot on her leg from that Kiwi thing. I know it's probably there on purpose, but it does seem sort of out of place.

It's most likely a boot. Yeah, you can't see the other foot, so it's unclear..... :l
