Just got a heads up from Facebook. Haruka, Chihaya, and Miki will be returning the not-so-friendly skies of Ace Combat Assault Horizon!

Haha, posted that on the games thread. Still, I'm up for buying them, especially since the monochrome versions are looking awesome and there's Chihaya's plane is in the first pack...

Hopefully, Bamco releases these skins in the US and EU, and it does help get people get interested in iDOLM@STER. (That's how I learned of this in the first place, with Ace Combat 6.)

Can't believe the US version of Assault Horizon is region locked.  Now I'm gonna have to import the JPN/ASIA version (I'm assuming I can get the DLC off the US market on the ASIA version like I was able to with my ASIA copy of Forza 4).

I would assume that these skins are getting a NA/EU release, since Ace Combat 6 had Im@s jet skins available for download here as well.

Yeah my only possible concern is DLC taken from the US Xbox Live Marketplace not being compatible with the JPN/ASIA copy of the game I'd have to get since The US copy of Assault Horizon won't work on my Japanese Xbox 360.  DLC off the US market seems to work on my ASIA copy of Forza Motorsport 4 though, so I hope it's compatible (I'm just basing my worries off of compatibility issues with the JPN and ASIA DLC for PS3 iM@S 2, but since that's a different platform altogether, I'm not sure).

But ohhhhmyyygoooooood I hate importing things.  Guess when I get some money, I'll throw ASIA Assault Horizon and Live For You! into one shipment.

Well, just checked the US Playstation Store, and lo and behold, iDOLM@STER skins!

Each skin (both color and monochrome) is about $5, but there's a pack with all of the skins for about $10. At least there's some sort of discount...

Now, I have to get another $20 US PSN card for the next pack.

Almost makes me want to get the game; I played a similar game back on the Nintendo 64.  Unfortunately, the ratings look rather bad for the game.  http://amzn.com/B0042GW7BI  Disappointing.  Maybe I'll wait until it becomes like $20.

In the US Home on the PS3, if you go to Namco's area in there, you can find Idolm@ster vending machines. They give you soda (lol) and portions of Haruka's casual outfit from the first game if you're lucky.

Danketsu was in Beautiful Katamari, which was released in America.

Yeah, there's been iDOLM@STER presence in other games, although I'm also not sure if there were and themes.

As for Assault Horizon, there's a demo out if you wish to try it. A lot of people rip on it because it's either: Call of Duty with planes or not Ace Combat. I say at least try the demo out.

I don't think you could get themes, but back in the days of the first version of the Xbox dashboard, you could buy Im@s gamerpic packs. I actually bought a set, myself.

Being an Ace Combat Fan, One phrase comes to mind here, Shut Up Namco, Take my Money!! All of it!! ALL OF IT!!

Although Just slightly Off-topic, AC:AH is probably one of the most ehrr hated? and Loved? out of the franchise, either way as long as those Im@s skins stay there on PSN Im getting this game 

PS: Isn't there an Im@s costume in Tales of Xillia too? Namco.... You're tempting me....

Welp, time to get another PSN card.

Poor Yukiho, though. In singleplayer, she'll only get featured in one mission (and that's if you take the time to choose) and I don't think a lot of people use the F-117 in multiplayer. Rather she switched to the F-35B, but oh well.

I know someone who's going to get a LOT of use out of the Yayoi Mirage.

And the Makoto Typhoon is going to be fun to use.
