Request: Models
« on: November 28, 2011, 06:10:30 pm »
I'm requesting the extracted 3D models of all of the idols (or at least Miki, Mami, Iori, and Hibiki) in all of their costumes. If you can please, give me the entire folder of all of the models and possibly the animations. I tried extracting them but it never worked for some reason.

Good luck with that - for most part, there's only been a couple of people who have successfully 'broken into' the Xbox 360 code to extract much of anything, and they are for most part, aren't talking much about it.

It's because im@s 2 uses a different encryption method, which in turn means your previous extraction tools (based from Live for You most likely, or maybe SP) won't work.

From my knowledge, they were working on backporting some of the items to Live for You. (From memory, moving Ritsuko and a couple of the costumes back)

Your best bet (Although I'd say good luck if you do) is to talk with them about it, and see if they'll give you what you'll need.

There was also a successful attempt of getting the models out of Live for you, but Hibiki isn't part of that group.

The PS3 version is a lot easier to extract from what I hear, and I've been trying to extract the PS3 version, but it seems that all of my tools are invalid. I am in need of someone who has a higher understanding and knowledge of extracting the iDOLM@STER PS3 models (basically someone who understands PS3s and game consoles more than I do).

I managed to get a piece of one of the folders extracted but it was the wrong folder (effects folder).

Sadly, I wouldn't really know where to start in regards with this, although the whole process sounds interesting. Do these tools permit extracting text files?

If it is in the game, it can be extracted. The tough part is getting it to work with other programs.
