Lol wow!  I didn't even realize they were puns until you pointed it out.  Very clever!

But I do think the artist who drew all these has a clear concept about how to combine them, color-wise and/or name/title-wise, they match each other perfectly.

Takane's image color is deep purple and her symbol is the moon, Astronauts also go with the moon while this team also uses deep purple as their image color.

Chihaya's image color is blue, her symbol is a bird; not really one like the team "Blue Jays", but it's a bird in blue color, too.

Futami Twin's image color is yellow, no need to explain why the artist picked the team "Minnesota Twins."

But what if Haruka comes with "Boston Red Sox"!? Well, they're both in red, but Haruka won't really like socks, as her symbol is "a pair of red ribbons"...

Haruka Amami - Boston Red Sox. She's the iconic character of Im@s, and Fenway Park is one of baseball's iconic stadiums.
Yayoi Takatsuki - ... Detroit Tigers, the Tampa Bay Rays, or the Chicago Cubs.
Ami/Mami Futami - Dead ringers for the Minnesota Twins.
Ritsuko Akidzuki - ... She's the Green Monster out in left field in Fenway Park. Or the Seattle Mariners if I had to choose. (But only because of their colors.)
Chihaya Kisaragi - Toronto Blue Jays. No brainer.
